Founder/ Guitar Teacher

I have loved music for as long as I can remember.I started playing in bands, then studied music at the Australian Institute of Music. At the same time, I began teaching at Guitar Factory and quickly became known for my skills. After finishing my studies, my wife and I became the new owners of the music school, I continued performing live and recording with different musicians. I love playing rock and can effortlessly switch between jazz and metal. Whatever music you have in mind, I can help bring it to life.

Guitar

Starting off in blues and jazz and learning a range of music styles and genres across Amsterdam, London and Sydney, I am a musician who enjoys playing with and teaching others. I’m a multi-instrumentalist who dabbles in electronic production and synthesis having been a member of Sydney dub-ska-reggae outfit "Fraudsters" for a decade I still love playing live gigs from time to time. Being a local and residing with my family in the Blue Mountains, helping local musicians is important to me.

Piano/Keyboard

After 12 years of classical training under Jenny Hammond, a Mozarteum University alumni and OAM recipient for music contributions, I obtained a Certificate of Music in 2020. I’m preparing for the AMEB Associate Diploma exam in November. Since age 16, I’ve taught piano to 100+ students of various ages and levels, with many achieving at least a B in their AMEB exams. I also teach contemporary styles. Besides piano, I perform vocals and guitar in a progressive metal band, and I hold degrees in business and philosophy, I’m also completing a masters degree in statistics.

Drum Tutor

I have been playing for over 15 years, with experience in live, stage and studio work. I’d love to share my knowledge and skills with you. My major influences are rock, punk and funk but I just love music and am open to all styles of music.
